Before  I retired I had always said I would love to build my own “Sports car” So when the time came I started looking around at what was available, Visiting several kit car companies I settled on GBS because the quality looked to be exceptional. So I purchased the ULTIMATE SELF ASSEMBLY Kit.
Throughout the time of the build (approx. 1 year) I have received Excellent service, highly recommend these guys for a performance vehicle of your dreams.
Great service from the first test drive to picking up my kit and ongoing they always answered all my questions (and there where many I can assure you) nothing was too much trouble for them. The workshop staff were always a great help for that little question “how do you do………?????" I would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to build a dream car.

Phil Roberts | Ford Based Zero Build-

I collected my Ford based Zero in November 2019. Armed with a panelled and painted kit and a van load of parts I carefully started my GBS Zero build.
This was my first kit car build and I found the process from first seeing GBS at Stoneleigh kit car show to being registered on the road straight forward.

All the people at GBS were very helpful, from ordering parts to answering any technical questions that I had. Fast forward to June 2022 IVA passed and registered now being driven and enjoyed.

Andrew Glover | Ford Zetec Build-

I started to build my Zero in 2015. Building a car was always something I wanted to do and I was drawn to build a Zero because the majority of the parts and components are produced in house. I also found the team at GBS to be very friendly and approachable. My family were involved in the process and we all felt like an extension of theirs.

During the build, Richard and the team were always at the end of the phone or email if I had any questions. I felt that the build itself was uncomplicated. The most difficult part for me was forming the scuttle and rear panel, although I understand that these now come pre formed. My favourite part of the build was starting the engine for the first time. A very rewarding moment!

The build was completed in 2017 and I still have my Zero 7 years on. In that time, I have been able to enjoy the car on the open road and on the track. I have attended over half a dozen GBS track days. It is great to be feel like part of the community. Andrew Glover.

 Stephen Osborne | Zero Duratec Factory Build-

"After researching and viewing lots of 'sevens' I bought a factory built 2021 Zero one year ago from the guy who had it built.
Prior to buying the car I checked its provenance with GBS during one of their open days.
There were several reasons why I decided upon GBS, including their vertical integration which gives them greater control than manufacturers who assemble bought in parts, and the friendliness and knowledge of the team.
I have never regretted my decision.
GBS have indeed been approachable, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.
I enjoy the Zero with spirited drives on the road, and I and my son and grandson have had great fun taking the Zero on track.

Mr & Mrs Hartley / GBS Factory Tour on 03/02/24:

We were one of the very first to go on the tour.  And what a treat it was too!
This is a bit different to the normal corporate factory tours we’ve done before.  This felt much more authentic and honest.  Not rehearsed nor delivered by a member of staff.  We were taken around by Richard , the director.  

So we got to hear first hand how the business started and how the business has grown.  The tour itself was fascinating as you moved around the premises from room to room (which is like a Tardis!) GBS is a really small team, but that’s what makes this whole business so unique and so incredibly special.  When you see the finished masterpieces created here you will be yearning to buy one.  Anyone who wants a Caterham will think again after visiting.  

The tour brings the whole production to life and Richard’s passion for what he believes in and ultimately what him and his team creates will leave you feeling you have to buy a car!  Highly recommend this tour for its individuality and Britishness!
